About Me
I am a Registered Nurse (RN) with a Master's in Public Health (MPH). I graduated from Salve Regina College (University) (BSN), and Yale University School of Public Health (MPH).
I have extensive experience in clinical nursing, public health, epidemiology, and travel medicine. I've worked in major medical centers in Boston, New York City, and Los Angeles; in state and county health departments in Connecticut and Los Angeles; and in travel medicine clinics in Los Angeles and Philadelphia. My curriculum vitae is available upon request.
Earlier in my career, I published in peer-reviewed medical journals about public health and epidemiological research.
I recently completed three writing skill certification courses with HealthWriter Hub: Introduction to Health Writing, Principles of Health and Medical Copywriting, and How to Write Patient Education Materials.
I continue to maintain an active state nursing license. I am a member of the American Medical Writers Association (AMWA), the International Society of Travel Medicine (ISTM), and the American Travel Health Nurses Association (ATHNA).
